Default Erie, PA Walleye

Hey fisherman, anyone walleye fishing out of the nut? Thinking about making the first trip of the year this weekend. Is it worth the trip or still to early? According to the reports I see, walleye may be caught in the 25 - 35 FOW areas west if ther nut. Very spoty. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Peckeye
