Lake Erie Walleye Receives "New Look"

For the first fourteen issues of Lake Erie Walleye Magazine, started in the summer of 1995, the magazine cover graphics consisted simply of the "fish in the lake".  With the recent Spring 2000 millennium issue, the magazine cover received a face lift and new look.

The "new look"

"The only thing we've changed is the cover", said  Rick Kubb, editor & Publisher of the Magazine.  "With the new millennium and everything we felt this was a good time to brighten up the cover and give it a more professional look and feel.  The inside content structure will remain the same as we continue to provide coverage of the complete fishing scene on Lake Erie, with of course, emphasis on walleyes.

Each issue will continue to offer several feature articles by well known walleye experts including Ted Takasaki and Mark Martin.  Regular columns  in each issue will remain including the "Walleye News & Fact File",  "Ask the Captain",  "Captain's Corner", "Equipment & Tackle News", "Walleye Tournament Schedules and Results" and more.  An informational directory of  Professional Fishing Charters will also continue to be included in each issue.

Lake Erie Walleye Magazine is published three times annually, each Spring, Summer and Fall.  Fishermen can learn more about the magazine by visiting the Lake Erie Walleye  web site at  There, they can view past issues and can request a subscription to the magazine.  Lake Erie Walleye magazine  is available by subscription only and costs $12.00 per year.    Fishermen can also call  their toll free number at 1 800 347-4519.
