Up for sale is a 2000 Starcraft Starfire 170LE with a Mercury 115 Hp outboard with an electric start evinrude 9.9 hp kicker motor and factory matched trailer. Boat comes with travel cover, Bimini top with enclosure, pedestal seats, two fish on rod holders, radio, battery, two live wells, new bilge pump, portable gas tank and fuel line for evinrude kicker, lines, etc. The kicker motor has an auxiliary link to the main motor to be steered at the console. Boat is rigged and ready. Outboards have recently been professionally serviced at local marina. I had the entire boat inspected and serviced (August 2020) including but not limited to motor, bait well, live well, new bilge installed, lights (including trailer lights), tilt / trim, radio, etc. Transducer mounting board was added this spring.

I purchased this boat earlier this year from a PA Boat dealer. I have used it very little since then. An I have decided to sell it. Free and clear title for the Mercury outboard and Starcraft as well. The evinrude does not have a title due to it being under 10hp title requirement. It will be included in itemized bill of sale.

The boat is a fishing boat and has signs of use. It is not perfect for being used for over 20 years. There is dock rash that has been touched up with hunter green paint, port side has dock rash dent on the gunwale, a few seams on the vinyl seats need attention. The carpet is in good shape, floor is very strong no flex. Transom is solid. Trailer is great shape, with recently greased wheel bearings. I have towed this boat for close to hundreds of miles and it pulled like a dream, hardly new it was back there. As will most plastic fenders, driver side plastic fender cracked from entering and exiting boat. Easily replaced or repaired. All the things noted DO NOT compromise the structural integrity and performance of this boat.

This boat handles well for a 17ft boat due to the steep dead rise of 17 degree, it slices through the waves on Erie, rather than plow into them. The Bimini top with enclosure is nice for shelter from the sun and rain. I have felt completely safe in this boat. My favorite part of this rig is the fact of how easy it is to troll with, it tracks nicely.
