This 1979 Chris craft Lancer 22 has been owned by the same family for the last 19 years. This boat runs and drives like new ready to launch and go! Refurbished as a “utility” including a new engine and gear that has clocked less than 250 running hours, it just sits at our dock most of the time. The aluminum I beam trailer is also in excellent condition with good tires, bearings and braking system. It too has been refurbished. The hull is cleaned and polished each year and never a blister has been noticed. Powered by a RH rotation GM marine Power 350 and Velvet drive, no vibrations with shaft and 12 X 11 prop which were also refurbished,
Being sold by the USCG skipper/ mechanic owner, boat has been given lots of TLC over the years.
Boat is not perfect, could use a new rub rail and updated instrumentation. Engine could use new drive belts and a water pump rebuild which owner will do if time allows. Water pump rebuild kit is included. Some gel coat blemishes exist and superficial gel coat repair is noted at stern chine on both sides. Engine and drive need nothing and Morris controls work smooth as silk.
As a deep V design and 22 LOA X 8 beam, the boat handles the bay chop very well. As such the rudder and prop must be removed for OTR travel. Assembly and disassembly take only minutes and the tools needed are provided. Tow weight 7500lbs.
Comes with all the typical boat paraphernalia including skies, anchor, life jackets etc. Rear seat removes with two screws for unencumbered fishing access to the stern area.
Boat will be launched as water levels allow. No texts, calls only. Thanks!
