1998 Sportcraft 251wa

Fully loaded and rigged to troll for Lake Erie Walleye. The boat is in great shape and shows and looks much nicer than a 1998.

Propulsion:
5.7L Mercruiser I/O with a Bravo 1 outdrive. Engine has 1372 current hours. I did a compression test 2 years ago on the engine and it had 175 psi or better on all 8 cylinders in 3 or fewer strokes of the gauge. The engine is very strong and doesnt burn a drop of oil all season. The oil is changed every season (hours are generally under or right around 100 for the season. 170 gallon fuel tank Boat cruises at about 21 mph at 3300 rpm and 24 mph at 3500 rpm and has a 3 blade stanless steel quicksilver prop

2005 9.9 Yamaha 4-stroke electric start kicker motor mounted on a Panther hydralic lift bracket. The kicker has less than 100 hours on it and starts right up.

Electronics:
Garmin TR-1 Gold autopilot. This is a hydraulic autopilot unit for the kicker motor. It also has throttle control built in so you can control the kicker motor throttle from the remote for the autopilot. Installed 2016 August

Fell Marine wireless MOB kill switch that is wired to both engines with one wristband fob. Move about the boat without being tethered to the kill switch, but have the security of the engines shutting off if you fall overboard - Especially important when fishing alone with autopilot engaged.

Raymarine c120w with thru hull transducer

Furuno FCV-620 with transom mount transducer

VHF Radio and Antenna

Clarion M303 AM/FM Bluetooth stereo with 3 speakers

Other features:
Blue LED Courtesy lights for night fishing

2 Bank onboard battery charger

New Bottom Paint 2017 Season Barrier coated in 2011

New side port light seals and screens 2017

New Bomar hatch 2015

New Canvas 2011 (boat kept inside year round so the canvas is still like new)

1998 Heritage tandam axle trailer with electric brakes. (needs new bunk carpet and plywood on the inside of the wheel wells)
For the size of boat it loads on the trailer very easily. Could be trailered, but I would recommend a 3/4 ton truck if you are going to trailer it regularly.

FX-11 Aluminum anchor on the bow pulpit

Triple Big Jon rod holders both port and starboard.

Boat sleeps two down below comfortably. The wife and I have spent many weekends aboard over at the islands. The faucet on the sink for fresh water was not there when we bought the boat and I have never replaced it as we never used the freshwater.

The outdrive needs a coat of paint as it flaked off in many places after pressure washing this season. The boat is kept inside in a boathouse since we have owned her. We are the third owner of this boat which has always been in fresh water. The Ice chest below deck has a bad corner in the door. I had designed a storage unit to fit in the space and just never got around to building it.

The boat is a turn key fishing boat rigged and ready to fish Lake Erie. You will be hard pressed to find a 1998 in better shape. The gel coat shines. Very few chips or dings in the gelcoat. The boat has two floor fish boxes a live well in the transom and a cutting station and raw water sink. The boat will come with 4 USCG approved orange life vests.

I do have a survey available for serious buyers which was done when we purchased the boat in 2010 or 2011.

We are asking $23,500. Please contact Dan Langdon 740-361-5857 with questions. The boat is inside and ready to be seen.
